At home :-)

Day 33:

Hello guys..today was the day of the potluck dinner organised by Ruth..
Our dish : chicken curry..

The morning was a bright one...clear skies and strong sunlight...
Not a better way to start your day, one...two...one...two..:-)

Well it came out quite well...sorry no more pictures of the evening (it was an official dinner...could not click)...but we had a fabulous spread..

pasta, couscous, quiches, pizzas, salads, curry, breads and wine :-)..and everything was tasty...

Thats all for today folks...sorry its a small post tonight...

    By the way,what sausages did you use?Were they spiced/chorizo or simply plain?Another question-Pretzels were an American creation -some kind of a snacky food like popcorn_remember eating them in the U.S. Is the bread an offtake on them-the shape is similar and size -i cant say from your pics. lots of love n hugs to all,but first and last for my Handsome!Hope to catch you all tonight.

Hi mumma!! the chicken curry came out very well..found an indian store where could get hold of some masalas...dhania,haldi,lal mirch etc...and used curd as the base...it worked really well...have also found shaan chicken curry powder, have tried it once it doesnt have much flavour other than chillies...
    Sausages: have tried all kinds plain, herbed and chilli...they all come out well..the pork is so good here...
    Pretzels as I gather is german snack...originated from there...and has been thence modified and tried with various variations...u get them here because of the swiss german area in basel close to the border...
    Ashvat doing great...we missed u guys tonight...tried to connect but u guys were offline...hope to catch up tomorrow..lots of love to both of u...:-)
