Day 36 & 37 : Around the city...

Day 36 & 37:

Hello....sorry for no post yesterday...the laptop was not free...Tarun was doing some work...

So yesterday was mostly a day at home and after the day chores we went to the super market to get the week's supply...

Where Ashvat, rather his papa tripped on the wine section...got some amazing special wines from Switzerland...will let you know once we start sampling them...:-)

Dinner: Kathi Roll....came out nice...but needs improvement...the parantha became a bit hard...

Day 37:

The day started with basic and quick breakfast as Tarun had to rush out for some work...

As papa gets set to go...Ashvat tries to do some weights...(he can push and pull this stool effortlessly, atleast, it seems so..)

So it was the boring toast...but what was interesting in the breakfast was the special swiss cheeses we bought yesterday..

Later, we went for a long walk, from Marktplatz - St. Alban Vorstadt - back home...

and look what all we found...

This is a famous Cookie shop...it only sells the famous basel cookie (yes they have their own personal cookie)...they are the best...Lackerli Huus...

They do limited edition tin cookie boxes...

Ashvat get fascinated by Tarun's tongue ( chewing gum)..

Another cute little shop....selling all kinds of ceramics...these cute villagers holding flowers...

As I got stuck to the shop window...Tarun and Ashvat continue their playing....

These are some cutlery...spoons, forks, knives and also the bowl with the metal leopard...
