A day full of events!!

Day 59:

Cold morning and an even colder evening...the temperature must be around 15 degrees...

Special day for Jean Tinguely lovers, it was a day to pay homage to him on his 20th death anniversary...events all around the town...so we also got up, got dressed and headed to attend some...

Quick morning breakfast : oats porridge with strawberries and boiled eggs...

Ashvat says good morning to his new found friends from Ikea, Mr. Doggy...and Mr. Moose...

Mr MOO stands neglected as all eyes are for the small little new Mr. Moose...

Morning breakfast for Ashvat: Oats porridge too - ditto :-)

Out on our way to the Tinguely fountain...Found a small carnival in progress just behind the church...it was an Indian carnival...but more than India, I would say African Carnival :-)

Ashvat's train....

Ashvat and papa share one of their priceless moments, where they ignore mumma :-)

At the Tinguely fountain, they took out a procession of on of his moblie works...The driving, noise-making, smoking, stinking, firecracker-exploding tractor “ Klamauk”  :-)...it was escorted by these fancy cars on the road and then at the fountain...

Dancers performing at the Tinguely fountain...

Both the babies enjoyed the spectacle...

Bye Bye 'Klamauk'...They took it out on the streets after 20 years; it was last taken out last at Jean Tinguely's funeral procession...so people said we were lucky to see the sculpture like this...:-)

Back at the carnival...

On our way back we reached Marktplatz, there at the square was live music performances conducted by proper conductors and skilled musicians....one piece after the another...it was amazing...it was a training session by the students of the music academy...awesome!!

Home now...time to give the tired bones some rest...see you tomorrow...
Cheers...
