National Day Special!!

Day 31:

Hello everyone!!..
Late start to a beautiful sunny day...thanks to the barbecue last night...
Hearty breakfast: eggs, bacon and buns...

Ashvat busy with his toys...

We set out to enjoy our share of the celebration...

The usually empty streets at this hour are bustling with people...the atmosphere is festive and bubbling with enthusiastic crowd...

Small stall and bars setup all along the Rhine and the main markatplatz area ...

 Live bands playing at every few steps...

Finally we got a place to sit...

Sausages and coke...swiss fast food...

These are small t-lights attached to gas balloons and they are left in the sky from small boats allover the water....Ultimately it covers the whole sky...

Fireworks began at 11:15... a treat to the eyes...
