Lazy, lazy Day...

Day 27:

Lazy lazy day!! Got up in a super lazy mode...so simple hassle free breakfast:

Smoked Ham..Assorted breads and baked beans...

After the lazy morning...I get on with some housework while Ashvat decides to go for a stroll...

An intellectual moment...

The family decides to go for a small picnic lunch or rather evening snack to Munsterplatz to the famous church...

Where Ashvat gazed at all the pigeons and sparrows to his heart's content...

Ashvat made yet another friend at the courtyard...long distance communication :-)...this one was also going wild looking at the birdies...

After the picnic...We walk into the main market and then cross this famous bridge to the other side...

Another cute plant and flower shop...

Bridge with the national and the Basel flags, in preparation of the National Day, fast approaching; 1st August...

That is a floating stage on the river...Imfluss is a festival starting in Basel from today till the 16th August, part of the national day celebration...They have these makeshift bars and restaurants all along the river facing this stage and there will be a live concert for an hour everyday, with different bands playing all kinds of music...

On our way back now...Sculpture of the skyline of the old Basel...

Back home Ashvat and mummy share a moment, and we also pose for papa...

Early dinner...The picnic sandwiches are still sitting in our stomachs....

Stir fry veggies with some plain egg noodles...and mozarella cheese...
